- Supplemental Questions
- The Honors College seeks students who are curious, engaged, and committed to growth both inside and outside the classroom. After exploring the Honors College website (honorscollege.vt.edu), reflect on the opportunities, values, or experiences that resonate most with you and explain why. How do these opportunities align with your personal interests, goals, or aspirations? Describe how you hope to engage with the Honors College community during your time at Virginia Tech, including specific ways you plan to contribute, challenge yourself, or grow. In what ways do you believe the Honors experience will provide unique advantages for your academic, personal, and professional development at Virginia Tech and beyond? Limit your response to 200 words. We are interested in your reflections, motivations, and goals rather than a summary of accomplishments. Share your story in your own authentic voice while refraining from using AI. Strong responses will demonstrate self-awareness, thoughtful engagement with Honors College opportunities, and a clear sense of how the experience can help you grow and make an impact.
- Do you grant Virginia Tech permission to release your name to the donor and/or representatives of the donor's estate?
