Dr. Mark V. Crisman Veterinary Scholarship

Funded by Virginia Tech, the Dr. Mark V. Crisman Veterinary Scholarship is a one-time scholarship awarded to fourth year DVM students in the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine who are residents of rural areas, as determined by the college, in their state and have good academic standing in the equine track. Students must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Preference given to students who have demonstrated a passion for horses and the people who own them. Additional preference to students who demonstrate volunteer experience, community service, or leadership activities. Changes in funding may cause VT to replace this award with another award for the same amount.
