The Kidwell Scholarship

Funded by Virginia Tech, the Kidwell Scholarship is a renewable scholarship awarded to an incoming first-year student with demonstrated financial need and who is enrolled in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech. Preference will be given to a student who is a resident of a rural area of Central Virginia. The scholarship may be renewed for multiple years if the recipient continues to qualify as an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering. Changes in funding may cause VT to replace this award with another award for the same amount.
