RSAP Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is for students who are applying to participate in the Rising Sophomore Abroad Program (RSAP). RSAP Scholarships will only be awarded to students who are accepted to and participate in RSAP.

Several $1000 scholarships are available to students participating in any RSAP Track to offset the program fee required for participation. Available scholarship funds will be awarded on a need basis as assessed with FAFSA. Decisions regarding these scholarships will be released after we determine how many students have financial need.

In addition to several $1000 scholarships that are given based on financial need, RSAP is pleased to partner with Fincantieri, one of the world’s largest shipbuilding groups, to offer two $6000 Fincantieri Global Citizen Scholarships for students participating in the Italy & Germany track. To be eligible to be a Fincantieri Global Citizen Scholar, students must be accepted to the Rising Sophomore Abroad Program, be United States citizens or permanent residents, be students in the College of Engineering, travel on the Italy & Germany track and provide compelling answers to scholarship essay questions. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate leadership qualities through extracurricular involvement, indicate an interest in maritime business and have financial need as assessed with FAFSA.
