Stamps Scholarship
Merit scholarships available to incoming Honors College students who exemplify leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation. This scholarship covers estimated cost of attendance for four years, filling in after any other scholarships won. To be eligible, you must be attending VT for the first time in the Fall 2025 semester as a first-year student (transfer students are not eligible). You also must have indicated on your Virginia Tech admissions application that you wish to be considered for the Honors College.

- Please tell us three improbable facts about you. (60 word limit) Improbable facts are aspects about you - experiences, beliefs, traits, skills, etc. - that seem unlikely but are true. These could include facts that people wouldn’t expect to be true and/or facts that others are surprised to learn about you. This does not mean a list of achievements; we will have the rest of your university application that may expand on something hinted here. But what you include here may not be represented in your Virginia Tech application. Use this to intrigue the selection committee so that they learn more about you. Examples: I have earned an equal number of humanities college credits as STEM credits. My radio show reporting on issues in my high school was highlighted on a national radio station. I have lived in more countries than states in the United States.
