VTCC Lewis and Violet Childers Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be, at the time of receipt of the scholarship funds, undergraduate students who are members in good standing of the VT Corps of Cadets. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of scholastic achievement, good character, and a demonstrated potential for leadership. First preference shall be given to members of the Corps who are majoring within the Dept of Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences and second preference to members of the Corps in any major within the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. In the event there is no qualified candidate majoring in CSES or within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in any given academic period, the Donors direct that an alternate award may be made to any qualified Corps member.
