MIT Scholars
Funded by Virginia Tech, the MIT Scholarship provides an average of $2,000 for spring or fall term for tuition and fees to support applicants who are pursuing a Master of Information Technology degree. The scholarship is open to students whose enrollment contributes to the diverse composition of the VT-MIT program and field of information technology. Students must be a citizen or eligible non-citizen and enrolled in at least six MIT credits to receive this scholarship. The scholarship may be renewed for students with good academic performance and who remain continuously enrolled with at least six MIT credits every fall/spring term following, completing a minimum of four MIT courses per year. The maximum number of award terms per student is four. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need. This award can be combined with other scholarships or tuition reimbursement programs, but may be reduced or canceled if the student receives full tuition from other non-financial aid-based sources.
