John Lewis Legacy of Courage Scholarship - Do Not Use

Funded by Virginia Tech, the Legacy of Courage Scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student who exhibits academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential from the Atlanta Public High School system (High Schools at Carver, Douglass, Grady, Mays, North Atlanta, South Atlanta, Southside, Therell and Washington), who have participated in the National Football Foundation’s Play It Smart Program. This scholarship is a one-time award unless the student has previously participated in the Play It Smart Program. This scholarship may be cancelled if you do not complete the required thank you letter. Instructions on completing the thank you letter requirement will be emailed to awardees in the summer prior to the beginning of the next academic year. Changes in funding may cause VT to replace this award with another award for the same amount.
