Townsend-Crews Honors Scholarship

Eligible students are current seniors in high school who have submitted an undergraduate application to Virginia Tech, have requested Honors College consideration, and demonstrate financial need. Preference for the award is given to a student who is a resident of the Appalachian region of the Commonwealth of Virginia. If there are no candidates from Virginia’s Appalachian region, then secondary preference will be given to a student from the Appalachian region in another state. If there are no candidates matching either of the above preferences, an alternate award may be made to any student with demonstrated financial need within the Honors College.
