Marion & Annie Webster Williams Scholarship

Priority will be given to those who, for two years preceding their acceptance, have resided in Franklin, Patrick, or Henry County, Virginia, with priority given to residents of those counties in the order listed. Applicants must plan to apply for the master’s program in the Virginia Tech School of Education. In addition, priority will be given to students preparing to become teachers in shortage programs offered at Virginia Tech (Elementary, Career and Technical, Mathematics, Counseling, English). If no student who applies is from one or more of these counties or shortage areas, the award will be based on financial need and recipient(s) must be a resident of the State of Virginia. A FAFSA must be completed in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
