William E. McCubbin Scholarship

Scholarship assistance for a Montgomery County Public School (MCPS), VA employee who is enrolled in the School of Education on a part-time or full-time basis. The awardee must be accepted into either a Certificate or Degree program offered in the School of Education.

Applicants will need to attach a statement essay (as a PDF) that is no more than 2 pages describing how the additional certificate or degree will help you support the healthy development of Montgomery County Public School students. Include any experiences that you have had with children, adolescents and/or the educational environment.

Applicants will need to attach a current resume (as a PDF) including work experience and extracurricular activities.

Applicants will need to provide proof of current MCPS employment.

Applicants will need to provide a letter of support (as a PDF) from a current Montgomery County Public Schools administrator addressing your current and potential contributions to education in the MCPS system.
