Statistics Undergraduate Scholarship Application

We currently have four (4) scholarships available to distribute to Statistics majors. The value of each scholarship varies from year to year. If you would like to apply for any of these scholarships, please complete the application and written responses. For all Department of Statistics scholarships, you must be continuing toward a degree in Statistics during the next academic year. That is, you cannot have completed all requirements for the Statistics degree prior to the year the scholarship will be awarded. The scholarships and unique selection criteria for each are as follows:

John H Kroehling Scholarship – Statistics
Recipient must:
• Have high academic achievement
• Have good personal character
• Exhibit leadership skills
• Be involved in community service
• Have financial need

Clyde Kramer Scholarship
Recipient must:
• Be a graduating senior who has shown outstanding service to the university and the broader community

Ray A. Gaskins and I. J. Good Scholarship
Recipient must:
• Have high academic achievement
• Have good personal character

Marion V. Eckert and Charlotte H. Eckert Endowed Scholarship
Recipient must:
• Be a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Have financial need
• Have high academic achievement
• High moral and ethical character
• Involvement in community or extracurricular activities
